About
Victoria MacPhail brings extensive experience in finance, accounting, and business advisory. She began her career with Deloitte Calgary, auditing private and public companies with a focus on financial compliance, risk assessment, and internal controls. She then joined ATCO Group in investor relations and corporate reporting, gaining insight into the complexities of a large publicly-traded organization.
In 2019, Victoria moved to Chicago as a Senior Associate at The Siegfried Group, providing accounting consulting and leadership advisory to a publicly traded fintech company. Upon returning to Prince Edward Island in 2021, she took on a remote VP of Finance role at Kapoose Creek Bio, a biotech startup, where she gained hands-on experience navigating the unique challenges of early-stage, innovation-driven ventures.
She also served as Finance Manager for the Native Council of PEI, overseeing day-to-day accounting, budgeting, and cash flow across more than 30 funding agreements supporting social programs for off-reserve Indigenous communities.
With a diverse background in finance and accounting, Victoria is passionate about helping organizations find tailored solutions that meet their specific needs—whether mid-sized companies focused on growth, or small purpose-driven startup.
